Haygain’s patented manifold system steams hay evenly throughout a double-walled, thermally-sealed hay chest. Steaming reaches and maintains temperatures exceeding 80°C (176°F), which is necessary to kill mold spores and bacteria.

The new Haygain Steam Generator: The Haygain 2 kW features an integrated timer, ensuring the steamer operates only for the programmed duration – for increased safety and energy efficiency.
- A new selector switch now allows you to individually choose the boiler control:
- Timer Mode – Use the integrated timer for straightforward, automatic steaming cycles.
- External Control Mode – Deactivate the internal timer, making the device fully compatible with an external timer – ideal if you want to plan steaming cycles in advance.
With a capacity of 7.7 liters, the steam generator is designed for daily use. It also features a "run-dry" alarm and a warning light, preventing overheating if the water level is too low.
