Keratex Hoof Putty is ideal for repairing holes in the soles of a horse's feet, allowing the owner to ride with confidence after the cavity has been plugged with Hoof Putty. It is particularly useful if your horse is recovering from an abscess, puncture or hoof separation.

Special features:

  • It can be used in the following ways
  • After thoroughly disinfecting the area, you can close it and ride immediately if a bandage is not required
  • To plug a puncture or hole, after an abscess has been cleaned and drained, after thoroughly disinfecting the area, if a dressing is required, so that you can ride with confidence after removing the dressing
  • Farriers often use them as an additional shock absorber when used between the lily pad and the frog on ponies with spring problems
