Haygain's Uncharted Waters: A Closer Look at Recent Developments

Haygains unerforschte Gewässer: Ein genauerer Blick auf die jüngsten Entwicklungen
Introduction:
There has been some turmoil in the hay steaming world in recent days as pioneering company Haygain appears to be going through some major changes. Customers, distributors and retailers are desperately looking for answers and it is evident that the once easily accessible channels through which to reach Haygain are slowly closing down.

Our personal journey with Haygain:
Flashback to 2012, where our story with the hay steamers began. Our family business, Farm & Stable, was proud to distribute Haygain in Germany and England. Working closely with visionary founder Brian Fillery, we were able to sell almost 4000 Haygain products until his death in 2016. However, our fruitful partnership with Haygain ended abruptly in 2022, prompting us to use our 10 years of experience to introduce the NUVEQ Steamers.

The current situation:
Amid the uncertainty, it appears that Haygain may have ceased operations. According to Creditsafe, a NAAA3 application has been filed, signaling an intention to appoint an administrator. This legal move aims to give struggling companies breathing room to put a rescue plan in place and protect them from legal action during this time.

The current changes:
A quick look at Haygain's presence reveals a number of changes: online ordering is disabled, advertising is nowhere to be found, phones aren't answered, and emails go unanswered. Social media interactions are limited, and the official LinkedIn page suggests that many employees are looking for new opportunities.

The horse world has suffered a blow:
In the horse world, this feels like a seismic shift, leaving many in the industry confronted with unexpected changes. If you are feeling the effects of these developments or are disappointed, our team is here to help. Talk to us and let's get through this difficult situation together.

Procurement of spare parts:
We recognise the challenges some of you may be facing with existing Haygain products and are happy to help in any way we can. If you require any spare parts or support please contact us at haygain@fsah.com and we will do our best to source or provide the necessary support to keep your equipment running smoothly.

Final thoughts:
As the hay steamer community takes in the unfolding events at Haygain, we seek to provide a personal touch to provide clarity and support needed during these uncertain times. While the horse world is in upheaval, our commitment to those affected by these changes remains unwavering.
