Haygain Descaler has been specifically formulated to remove limescale. It is the recommended product to use when cleaning your Haygain steam generator. Use the descaler regularly to keep it scale-free and working efficiently.
1 sachet – 250g – enough for one descaling cycle. Simply mix with hot water and pour in. We advise descaling every four to six weeks.
Limescale build-up occurs on the heating elements of a steam generator or any appliance due to calcium present in the water. This reduces performance, increases running costs and decreases the lifespan of the heating element.
The descaler contains a mild citric acid ensuring it will not damage the exposed element inside the unit, while still being strong enough to thoroughly clean the inside of the Haygain steam generator. This descaler is safe for use in commercial environments, however, we ask you to note that this descaler contains acid so it is very important to rinse your steamer after using the descaler.
